A floating timber floor was installed, complete with mitre joint detailing to sympathetically instal around the original stone floor. A timber roof was installed and finished with cedar shingles.

Using weatherboard cladding, to fit within the Kentish aesthetic, the building now houses a utility area, playroom and incorporates an exciting brick-walled outdoor loo. This was refurbished as part of the project and is now housed under the cedar shingle roof.
