Bespoke Solid Oak and Birch Ply Kitchen

Bespoke Cornish family kitchen. The main kitchen is made up of various elements including birch ply carcasses with oak drawer fronts, doors and work surface and bespoke turned walnut handles. The wrap around Oak kitchen work surfaces utilise the woods natural form, creating a feature out of its details, grain and edges. Finished with epoxy, walnut and oak knot and crack repairs.

Sliding Oak door that separates the pantry and utility from the kitchen in this newly renovated Cornish farmhouse. Framed by a lime rendered archway the sliding door houses book storage on one side of the door and runs on a barn door style mechanism. The design is finished with an Oak shelf above and birch ply details that match other features in the kitchen.

A great project creating a practical but design led family space.
